Michael Carden

Michael Carden – Secretary-General
Michael Carden is a 12th grader and IB Diploma candidate at the American School of Paris. Originally from Long Island, New York, currently living in one of the major capitals of the world, and speaking both English and French, Michael has always found international relations and diplomacy to be extremely important and stimulating. This is his seventh year involved in MUN, and his fourth PAMUN conference; having been a delegate, chair, Deputy Secretary-General, and now Secretary-General. Michael is also involved in Student Council, the National Honor Society, the Kalahari Education Experience and Amnesty International, as well as varsity cross country and baseball.

Tim Plump

Tim Plump – Deputy Secretary-General & IT Wizard
Tim is currently a junior at the American School of Paris, and this will be his second year attending the school.  For his entire life, Tim has lived in the United States up until his sophomore year, when he moved to Paris.  Tim is a member of the math team at ASP, along with the National Honor Society and most importantly, the Model United Nations.  After attending PAMUN as a delegate, Tim was intrigued by the level of debate, and he developed an affinity for Model United Nations.  He is excited for the 2013 conference and hopes to create a stimulating atmosphere for all delegates from around the world, in which each and every delegate participates in fruitful, constructive debate.

Mallika Bhandari

Mallika Bhandari – Deputy Secretary-General
Mallika Bhandari is currently a junior at the American School of Paris. Born in India, and thereafter based in The United States and Europe, Mallika was originally drawn towards Model United Nations for its culture of consensus-building while still dealing with pressing global issues – ideals which she feels PAMUN, as a conference, exemplifies. Outside of MUN, Mallika’s interests lie in music – as she is a chamber violinist and singer, athletics – as co-captain of her school’s varsity cross-country team, academics – as a member of the National Honor Society and a full IB Diploma Candidate, and in organizations such as Amnesty International and Student Government. Having been first a delegate, then chair, and now Deputy Secretary General of PAMUN, she looks forward to a stimulating and memorable conference for all.

Sabrine Keane

Sabrine Keane – Deputy Secretary-General
Sabrine Keane is currently a senior at the American School of Paris. She was born in Paris, lived many years in Boston, speaks both English and French, and has Tunisian origins, making her a truly global citizen. This will be Sabrine Keane’s fourth and last year attending PAMUN, and she is honored to be partaking in PAMUN XIII as a member of the Executive Team. As well as MUN, Sabrine is also involved in numerous other clubs such as Romanian Children’s Relief, her school newspaper Aspire, and peer mentoring. Outside of school Sabrine supports the WWF and enjoys travelling, scuba diving, and snowboarding. Sabrine looks forward to a great conference and hopes to be part of creating a positive environment in which ideas will be developed and resolutions passed.

Jane Kirkham

Jane Kirkham – Head of Admin Staff
Jane Kirkham is a senior and has been at the American School of Paris for 4 years. She was born in the US and has lived in Maryland and Tokyo before moving to Paris. She speaks Japanese and English and is a citizen of both Japan and the US. Jane is an avid athlete and club member. She enjoys being a part of varsity soccer, basketball, and softball as well as Romania Children’s Relief and Habitat for Humanity. This is Jane’s third year as a part of the Admin staff and she is looking forward to a fun and exciting PAMUN 201

Ashleigh Coates

Ashleigh Coates – Deputy Head of Admin Staff
Ashley Coates is currently a junior at the American School of Paris. This is her 2nd year at ASP, and she has immensely enjoyed the opportunities she has been offered while living abroad. Ashley was born in Adelaide, Australia and she is a citizen of the United States and Trinidad and Tobago. She has lived in 5 different countries and attended 10 different schools. She enjoys doing sports such as basketball and running, and is also an avid member of Romanian Children’s Relief Club. Outside of school she enjoys doing art and reading. This is her second year working at PAMUN, and she is looking forward to a successful PAMUN 2013.

Bérangère Judis

Bérangère Judis – Deputy Head of Admin Staff
Bérangère Judis is currently a junior at the American School of Paris. She has been attending the school since she was 4 years old and will be staying until she graduates. Bérangère is half American half French but has lived her whole life in Paris France visiting family in the United States every other year. She is very active in charity clubs at ASP including India Club, Habitat for Humanity and Romania Children’s Relief – and travelled twice to Romania in the past two years. She was part of the Admin staff last year and is looking forward to PAMUN 2013

Baptiste Cumin

Baptiste Cumin – Editor-in-Chief of Munificence
Baptiste Cumin is a senior at the American School of Paris, which he has attended for the past 4 years. He is French, but has spent the majority of his life abroad in London, Bangkok and Prague. Baptiste hopes to go on to excel in the field of economics which he enjoys as well as journalism. Outside of academics, he is a member of the Kalahari Education Experience club, the Varsity football team and India club. As a member of the press at PAMUN 2012, he had the opportunity to participate in the MUNIFICENCE newspaper and cannot wait to relive this experience with his team this year.

Natasha Lodhi

Natasha Lodhi – Deputy Editor of Munificence
Sixteen-year-old Natasha was born in Pakistan, but has been on the move since she was only just a few months old. She has experienced the tropical culture of the Far East in Indonesia, the rich and moving life in the heart of Nigeria, and, of course, the warmth and comfort of the United States. She speaks various dialects of Pakistan, is fluent in English, and has perfected her French during her stay in Paris. She has previously served in the ADMIN staff for PAMUN, and has seen the conference in a different perspective altogether. She’s involved in the school’s newspaper, is an active member of Amnesty club, part of the National Honor’s Society, and is President of the Arts Club at ASP. Writing has always been one of her strengths, and she is honored to have opportunity of reflecting the conference through the vision of the Munificence Newspaper for PAMUN 2013.

Marelle Ruijgrok

Marelle Ruijgrok - Deputy Editor of Munificence
Marelle Ruijgrok was born in Holland and has lived in a couple of different places such as Holland, Scotland and France. Currently she attends the American School of Paris where she has been since her sophomore year. She does the full IB, is part of the volleyball team and India club. She can speak English, Dutch, and adequately well French, enjoys traveling and reading. During PAMUN 2013 she will be a junior. She has attended PAMUN 2012 as ADMIN staff and had enjoyed it very much and is now looking forward to PAMUN 2013 and this time as being a member of the press.
